Buy the ones already in a can. Then pressure cook them for 30 minutes. You'll find them softer and you don't have to add salt. However allow them to cool for an hour. This helps them pop out of shell easily. Add 10 more minutes and some are so soft that the shells can be eaten as well. Works for me! I hope you enjoy this cheat. Oh, add some bottled water, about two cans to reduce saltiness.
