Can I Re-boil Undercooked Peanuts?

I just bought a bag of boiled peanuts at a roadside produce stand in SC for the ride home back to VA. They are undercooked and way too salty! Can I throw them in a pot to finish cooking when I get home? Thanks in advance for the help.

Re-boiling Peanuts

KG,
Yes you can re-boil peanuts! They will soften further. If they are too salty then boil them in plain water, and that will draw some of the salt out.

I know I'm late but maybe this will help someone in the future. Yes you can "reboil" in plain water and add a tater or 2 to draw out some of the salt.
