Having hard time finding good peanuts this year

Me and my wife been getting good Valencia peanuts for years. This year we can't find them anywhere so we have been buying the only kind everybody has around here there cheaper and they boil about 8 hrs instead of 13 hrs like the Valencia the only problem is that they have a hard shell and by the time you crack them open them you smash the nuts. Is anyone else having this problem?

I can only find them from 2 places locally, the quality is sub par. Lots of peanuts that have broken or cracked shells. And I can only find small boxes 25lbs or less.

Where to buy good peanuts?

Embalmer, where are you located? I have to have raw peanuts shipped to me here in Colorado.

I have been getting the ones in boxes too gotta drive about 45 minutes to get them someone told me try Asheville farmer's market. Went down there everybody down there had the same peanuts but in bags and the price was double what we were paying.They said that's the only kind of peanuts around because Valencia crop was wiped out this year on account of drought.

Finding good peanuts again

There for a while I thought it was going to take a long time to get good peanuts. but just so happen to stumble upon some good jumbos 80 dollars for 50 lbs. They said just call ahead and they will get them.
